ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORING
Engineered wood is constructed from multiple layers of timber topped with a solid wood veneer — giving you the genuine look, feel and character of a wood floor, with greater stability and more versatility in where it can be used than solid wood.
Available in a wide range of species, grades, plank widths and finishes — from clean and contemporary to characterful and rustic. Installation can be glued or floated depending on the product and the specifics of the job, and herringbone is among the laying patterns available.
Engineered wood is generally suitable for use with underfloor heating — get in touch for advice on the right product for your setup.
LAMINATE FLOORING
Laminate is constructed from multiple layers of timber with a printed top layer that’s scratch resistant and hard wearing — achieving the look of a wood floor at a more accessible price point. Modern laminate is genuinely impressive in terms of realism, with authentic grains, knots, textures and bevelled edges available across a wide range of finishes.
Water resistant options are available, making laminate suitable for use in kitchens and other areas where occasional moisture is a consideration. Herringbone is among the laying patterns available here too.
We carry samples from our suppliers that can be brought to your home, and offer a free measure and quote with no obligation. Whether you’re set on engineered wood or still weighing up your options, we’re happy to help you find the right floor for your space.
