Wood effect
The most popular choice β realistic wood-look planks available in a wide range of species, tones and plank widths. Available with square or bevelled edges and smooth or textured surfaces depending on whether you’re going for a sleek contemporary look or something more rustic. Lighter oak tones and wider planks are particularly popular at the moment, though the range is broad enough to suit most interior styles.
Stone and tile effect
Realistic stone, marble and ceramic finishes that are far more practical than the real thing β warmer underfoot, easier to cut and far more forgiving if the subfloor isn’t perfectly level. Available with or without design strips that replicate the look of grout, a small detail that makes a significant difference to the authenticity of the finished result.
Statement and decorative
For something a little different, we can source patterned, mineral, resin and metal-effect tiles, block colours and 3D effect finishes. These work particularly well in hallways, utility rooms and commercial spaces where a floor that makes a visual impact is part of the brief. INSTALLATION PATTERNS
One of the advantages of LVT over real wood or stone is the flexibility it offers in how it’s laid. Standard straight and staggered layouts are the most common, but we regularly install:
Herringbone β with or without a border, one of the most requested patterns and one that works particularly well in hallways, kitchens and open-plan spaces.
Basketweave β a classic pattern that suits both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Traditional styles β including formats like Karndean Heritage, which replicates the character of original Victorian and Edwardian tiled floors.

Wear layers β which is right for your space?
LVT is available in different wear layer thicknesses, and choosing the right one matters for longevity. We’ll advise on the right specification for your project β the same product in the wrong wear layer is a false economy either way. As a general guide:
Residential β suitable for most domestic rooms including living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.
Commercial β a thicker wear layer for higher-traffic environments such as offices, retail spaces and rental properties.
Heavy-duty commercial β for the most demanding environments including healthcare, education and hospitality.
We specialise in glue-down LVT installation β the method preferred by professional installers for permanent, high-quality results. Glue-down LVT lies completely flat, feels solid underfoot and delivers a finish that’s built to last.
Proper LVT installation starts with the subfloor. Subfloor preparation is carried out as standard in every installation β and the right approach depends on what’s underneath. During our site survey we’ll establish whether your subfloor is concrete, timber or a combination of both, and prepare accordingly. The condition of the subfloor can only be fully assessed once existing flooring is lifted, but whatever we find β levelling, filling, damp-proofing β we deal with it as part of the process, so the job is done properly from the ground up.
Manufacturers back their products with warranties ranging from ten to thirty-plus years β but those warranties depend on correct installation. Getting it right from the start protects your investment.
